Wat begon als een ambitious plan van een stagiair is nu uitgewerkt tot
cultureel festival! Verschillende kunstdisciplines laten zien wat de
Kargadoor in huis heeft. Kom langs, bekijk de expositie van 8
verschillende kunstenaars, luister naar de artiesten en dichter in de
werfkelder en maak er een gezellige avond van!
JULIAN BINGHAM
Julian Bingham is an Utrecht based singer-songwriter who experiments
with the cross-genre sounds of neo-folk, jazz and pop. Born in
Australia, Julian has travelled the world for many years. In 2014 he
worked in a remote studio tucked away in the
mountains of the Tuscany Valley, Serchio. Over the course of three
months, in almost complete solitude, he composed a collection of songs
that he later took to New York City. Here, he was signed to the New York
based record label Play These Records. During his time in New York,
Julian not only performed solo shows, but was also featured playing the
electric violin with a range of electronic artists and DJs.
Julian is now living in Utrecht, enjoying a slower pace of life, new friends and the wonderful weather.
BETWEEN THE JARS
Between the jars, that is where the music of five young men from
Utrecht is created. Various musical backgrounds mix together in a sound
that sheds a new light on the classic rock we all know. Funk, blues,
jazz, together with a little psychedelics, makes their rock a broad
concept. Live, the music is played with the right intention. Shredding
riffs, groovy basslines, screaming organs and an one-of-a-kind voice…
Between The Jars always leaves the crowd impressed.
