John Robertson is een getalenteerde comedian die overal tot zijn recht komt. Luidruchtig en brutaal gaat hij schreeuwend het publiek te lijf in zijn show Dominant die gaat over zijn onconventionele seksleven en de overlap tussen SM en comedy.
De Schotse krant The Scotsman over Dominant: "The finale is a thing of joy and wonder and I’m almost tempted to give it away. It involves physical punishment, audience participation and Frank Sinatra. And for some, carefully-selected members of the audience, it seems to offer a genuine sense of release."
