Utrecht in Dialoog: Hoe vrij is Europa?

Vrijheid vinden we allemaal belangrijk. Europese wetten en nationale instanties moeten deze vrijheid ook garanderen voor elke burger. Maar hoe vrij ben je in Nederland, en is die vrijheid hetzelfde in andere delen van Europa? 

In dit dialoog praten we over hoe vrij Europa is, en zou moeten zijn. Voor mensen die hun dromen willen najagen en hun eigen identiteit willen uiten maar ook voor jou, voor je buren of je familie. Hoe vrij ben jij?

European laws and national constitutions guarantee key liberties to all citizens. But cultural norms vary widely across the continent, and not all individuals enjoy the same freedom to pursue their dreams or express their identities.
