Basta! - Oh My God

Elke tweede donderdag van de maand presenteert KSU een Basta! Basta! is een organisatie die sinds 2007 maatschappijkritisch debat in Utrecht voert. Basta! brengt mensen samen om te discussiëren over onder andere onderwijs, activisme, oorlog, racisme, politiek, economie of feminisme.

The film is a montage of interaction and artistic cooperation between two contrast identities at different spaces in Utrecht.

It reflects our capacities of communication beyond language barriers and provoke a more inclusive society.

KSU invites everyone to De Kargadoor on the 13th of June for the premiere of Yingyi Wu's documentary exploring communication beyond barriers. Movie and live performance from the author, and discussions afterwards.

We have all found ourselves in situations that made us realize how hard it is to communicate with someone from a different background, be it because of age, language, preconceptions, and/or a multitude of other factors. Despite differences and hardships, we still strive to find a way.

Please join us to listen or share your thoughts, stories, and experience.

The film is about an hour long, after it everyone is welcome to stay for a conversation or just a drink.
